Has anyone tried the practice CBE on the ACCA website?
I’ve done it, and am hoping that it’s of the same level the exam will be – BUT it seems too easy.
Has anyone tried it?
I’d be most interested to hear from someone who’s tried the practice one and then done the actual exam, and how they compare.September 19, 2016 at 11:22 am #340908AnonymousInactive- Topics: 29

If you are referring to the specimen CBE, then the main purpose is to familiarize you with the exam format.
You should practice with a revision kit from an approved publisher, they have many exam standard questions for you to practice on.

Having now done the exam, I think it’s useful for people to know that the practice exam is of the same difficulty level as the “real” exam.
What is very useful, is to look at the answers which are available for the practice exam, as there are sometimes workings attached which I found helpful.September 28, 2016 at 3:20 am #341917The practice CBE is the same standard as the real exam.
However, as suf23 says, just practicing that exam is nowhere near enough – you must buy a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers. They contain lots of exam standard questions to practice on.
Also, have you attempted all of our practice tests on this website, and our mock exam on this website?
