Sir, I am sitting for F6 (UK) in March 2018 session…Could you please suggest some topics or areas that are most likely to be tested..?
Is basis periods an important area???…I am not quite sure I understand it in its whole sense..the rest topics seems to be just fine…I am a lil worried about this paper …

It is not possible I regret to give tips about the exams in their current format and the limited information we get about past papers – you need to have good overall knowledge of what we have dealt with in the lectures and notes.
Basis periods are important and need to be learned – note I say learned not understood as you have written – they are rules that HMRC have devised – there is nothing to be understood you just have to learn the rules and be able to apply them – that takes practice!
