Hi there, can anyone advise me…
I sat the Dec 11 F6 UK Tax exam and during the exam there was an issue. The man sitting at the table next to me chattered and read aloud for 2 hours of the exam time. This distracted me to a very considerable extent, so much so that I complained about him. He then threw his calculator at me. Someone else also complained and managed to get moved to another table. He put me off my exam so bad that I couldnt concentrate and ended up not answering as much as I could have done had he not been talking. The invilgilators kept giving him a row but he didnt stop. I thought i had failed this exam miserably due to this distraction but I received my mark today and it was 49 I cant believe I missed by 1 mark! I blame the man that sat next to me and I can probably find out what his desk number was etxc. Should I appeal this or should I put this down to bad luck?? I am so angry that he put me off for nearly 2 hours of the exam and now today I have found out I could have passed this if it wasnt for his rudeness!!!! Any advise please??? 🙁February 14, 2012 at 9:53 am #94375Hi Stacy,
Its sad that you were not able to clear paper with just one mark.
However in my opinion I dont think you would be able to justify your case to ACCA based on the facts you have provided.
Probably you could complain about this to ACCA but i dont think that it would help you anyway to make changes to your score.
Regards
