I passed P2 and P3 but failed P1 with 48 marks.
P1 was the easier exam which I fully attempted all required questions. My mistake was it being the first paper, I did not shade the attempted questions on in the answer sheet pages and instead ticked off.I believe I was penalised for this but not failing to answer questions. What are my chances to appeal for remarking?

MW – I did this also but I passed so I doubt that would have anything to do with you failing. Like most people, I thought the exam went really well so was suprised to scrape a pass. Maybe the examiners were strict with their marking, rather than marking around the recommended answer as they should do with a subjective paper such as this
August 23, 2011 at 9:19 am #86762Passed with 52 though was expecting nothing less than 65 but anyhow pass is pass soo i m happy 😀

I sat 4 papers. F8, F9, P1 and P2 self study. Passed all (Thanks God), P1 58%Wow, u re amazing~ mind to share ur ways to study?? been trying P1 for 3 times, yet still failed with 44 marks~
Simply go through all the study text (no notes).
Do a past paper
Watch lectures, if you have
Go through study text, make notes and mnemonics
Attempt a past paper
Now go through previous exams and do Mock exams
Near the exams, attempt as many past papers as you can.August 23, 2011 at 8:43 pm #8676763 passed three professional papers at one go… hope to be an affiliate this Dec… can’t wait
August 24, 2011 at 6:41 am #86768This was my first ever fail, 46%, I am baffled as like with all the other papers I worked really hard and was happy with what I thought was an easy exam? There was nothing came up that I was not comfortable with and my time management was good – had a look at the answers and I am now even more baffled as I too had discussed all the main points? Wish I knew where I have gone wrong as don’t know how to improve? Some people have mentioned a review – what does this entail and how do you go about it? Is it possible to get back your scripts to see where you have gone wrong? I passed mock exams with flying colours……..???!!!
August 24, 2011 at 7:35 pm #86769a lot of people thanking god (both jokingly and seriously)…. don’t you guys realise you put the hard work in to get the results!!
I work my backside off to pass these exams and I wouldn’t dream of owing everything to some geezer up in the clouds…
just a thought

September 2, 2011 at 8:25 pm #86777Failed p1 46%. Passed P2 58% and Passed P6 63%
All first attempts. How on earth did I pass the 2 arguably toughest papers at this level but fail P1?
Happy to pass but dissapointed with P1. - AuthorPosts
