46% of all ACCA students sitting the June exams received a ‘you have passed this paper’ confirmation this time around.
One of these papers is F7 which six months ago had a pass rate of 47%. This time around it fell to 38%. Many students had complained that this exam just tested them ‘on speed’. The lack of any question on goodwill was also a concern.
Pass rates at F% are also worryingly low. Last June the F5 pass rate was 57% – now it’s 37%. As usual the optional pass rates were also ‘rubbish’! How can students get to the end of a professional qualification and only 30% manage a pass in the audit paper? That’s more than two out of every three sitters failing the paper.
The worldwide pass rates
F1 – 70%
F2 – 57%
F3 – 55%
F4 – 55%
F5 – 37%
F6 – 51%
F7 – 38%
F8 – 40%
F9 – 38%
P1 – 52%
P2 – 50%
P3 – 47%;
P4 – 30%
P5 – 35%
P6 – 45%
P7 – 31%August 30, 2011 at 10:19 pm #86465Hi
I am looking for candidates who live in edgware, london UK ( or North west London) that intend to sit for papers F5 and F9 in june 2012 for a self study group.
September 5, 2011 at 3:33 pm #86466This session I attempted F4 and F5, passed in both, and for F5 all I did was listen to Opentuition lectures and practice questions and so I would like to thank the F5 tutor John Moffat and everyone working on his website.
