Hi there, I’m currently having my quarterly exam panic as I am taking PM on Wednesday morning. I feel confident about Sections A and B, but C seems quite unpredictable when I look back at the mock exams and question practice I have done. It looks as though they could ask about any part of the syllabus.
My question is: are there any questions that are pretty much guaranteed to come up in Section C of PM? Divisional performance measures and budgeting/variances have appeared many times but every so often I have been caught out by a seemingly random question…
For example, I took FR and TX-UK in June and September and it was basically guaranteed that TX would ask about corporation and income tax and that FR would be an accounts prep question and a ratios question, so it was easier for me to practice Section C, however PM doesn’t seem as consistent.
Thanks in advance!

Section C of the exam comprises two 20 mark constructed response questions. The two 20 mark questions will come from decision making techniques, budgeting and control and/or performance measurement and control areas of the syllabus. These questions may also include requirements related to the information systems area of the syllabus. The section A questions and the questions in section B can cover any areas of the syllabus.
