    HI,

I have just under two weeks until my PM exam.

Does anyone have any revision tips to get me through the exam?

    Thanks

If you ask in this forum then it will be me that answer – it is Ask the Tutor, and I am the tutor for Paper PM.

There is no ‘quick’ way of passing this exam. It is a hard exam (look at the pass rates on the ACCA website) and all of the syllabus is examined in each exam.

The only way to pass is to study everything, either by watching my free lectures – they are a complete free course and cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well, or by working through a Study Text from one of the ACCA approved publishers.

In addition, however you choose to study, you need to buy a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers. They contain lots of past exam and other exam-standard questions to practice. You need to work through all of them because practice is vital if you are to pass the exam well.

Only you know how much time you have available (due to work or home commitments), but you may be better waiting until December if you have not yet started studying.

    Hi John,

How many hours would you say you need to cover this module comfortably for a pass?

I work full-time and thinking of entering in for December exam.

    Thanks,

It is impossible for me to say how many hours are needed – it depends on how easy or difficult you find the topics. Everyone is different 🙂

You can see how many lectures there are and so you should do yourself a plan – spreading the lectures over the time you have available. Leave two weeks at least clear at the end of revision and working through all of the questions in your Revision Kit.
