June 2014 will be 7 years from the date i started acca
For some reason i can not pass my final 3 papers
It will be my 6th attempt in P3
4th in P6
And 3rd in P7
I dont understand what i do wrong i should have finished two years ago
For the last 2 years i ve been trying to clear these papers, i cant stand it anymore is devastating i got a 44, a 46 and a 46On top of that i dont work i was a full time student from the beginning, the past two years i have been trying to find a job but no one will hire me because i dont have a degree yet, not even for training they dont hire me
I dont know what else to do i am devastated i really believed that the previous sitting was my last one
I think i am the only one in the world who is in this situation
March 28, 2014 at 5:27 am #163420Do not be discouraged. I suggest you take the remaining papers one for a time so as to give your best to each of them. make sure you cover the syllabus and practice and practice and practice the revision and past exam questions. forget about what happened previous when you enter the exam hall and tell yourself you can do it. I know you can.
For jobs, think of what you like doing and try to create job out of it. you may end up hiring others instead of waiting to be hired.March 28, 2014 at 9:43 pm #163547Allah’s Mercy is always more than a persons problems.
Keep faith in Allah and study smart,if u cant study much at a time, study with small breaks in between, then have a walk outside to refresh ur brain.
Maybe you can do one paper per sitting so that ur focus is more on that particular paper.
Try opentuition course notes and lectures if u havent yet tried, alongwith an approved publishers text and revision kit.
Try a mock exam in strict exam conditions then mark it,
Be happy and dont despair of God’ mercyMarch 28, 2014 at 9:53 pm #163549hasanali………do u live in Riyadh Saudi Arabia ?

March 29, 2014 at 2:23 pm #163631Haha bro,i live in Dubai
Ur lucky to be in saudi arab 🙂April 3, 2014 at 7:52 pm #164318I agree with previous advice. Please take only one exam in June (P3). Even consider taking the break as obviously your brain is too tired with the studying. You still have until 8th of April to make changes in your exam choice.
I would suggest to buy a Success CD, there are short lectures relevant to one exam on two discs, the total running time is about 2 hours. I would listen to these lectures as much as possible, if you have visual memory type the lectures, print and read once you listen. Listen until you feel that you know the lectures by heart.
Then go to Open tuition and see the lectures about exam technique. They are very helpful.
Read relevant articles in Student Accountant.
Then I would take the Practice and revision kit and do all the exercises.
Then go through Open tuition notes and/or lectures.
After that, there are 3 practice exam in the Practice and revision kit, do them under exam condition and see how you go.
Then go through all the past exam questions and see how you feel about them.
From my experience in P exams it is worth spending time on planning your answers rather than rush to write. Please remember the rule of one relevant point for each mark.April 15, 2014 at 3:59 pm #165352For P3, try summarising previous exam papers into memorable notes.
Use bullet points highlighting the main areas, also there are some very good lectures on you tube from previous papers – I found them invaluable. Check out the links below – there are more but these are just some examples.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZgP6li2jC3Q

For P7, I am trying a similar approach but it is my first time of sitting in June 14 so cannot comment if I have been successful or not! 🙂
Im also attempting P6 but its hard to suggest revision technique because I will admit I am finding it difficult – and I partly work in taxation!!
Are your notes up to date for the 2013 tax year?Hang in there – Best of luck
May 16, 2014 at 10:21 am #169017thank you all for your kind words!!!!
I can only hope that this time i will succeed
May 16, 2014 at 10:25 am #169019focus on the work
forget the result
it will happen !!!May 23, 2014 at 8:37 pm #170373Another suggestion is to consider maybe taking a break from sitting exams or as others suggest, sit one paper, and attempt the OBU RAP project to obtain the BSC degree. This year makes it my 7th year doing ACCA as well, however i have always done it parttime as I work fulltime and I do not sit exams every session as I get busy with job responsibilities.
I paused last session to attempt the OBU project and was successful so now I have something tangible to support my years of work experience.
All the best!
June 4, 2014 at 10:41 pm #174014take a break and find a job
June 4, 2014 at 11:35 pm #174032Maybe you shouldnt take the three together anymore and just concentrate on 1/2 per diet and early preparations too.
All the best brother
