1st attempt (no study at all, just attended the exam) – 37%.
2nd attempt (textbook, past papers) – 41%
3rd attempt (open tuition lectures, past papers – overall better understanding) – 36%
How could this possibly be that after studying you get a lower mark than no studying and not knowing any formulas at all?
Much appreciate if you could suggest another way of preparing for P4 as my methods do not help at all to pass this exam (last exam to obtain qualification).
Hi, Akerman. I think you may be having issues with the rudiments of paper P4. I would advise you go back to the basics of Financial Management. Go through your F9 for a start then revise your p4 to help with better grasp of the paper. Secondly, If you know and have read properly but are not able to manage your time properly during the examination, you may find yourself scoring low marks. Time management is key for Paper p4
