A provision of 100,000 is recognized by ABC Co for a case initiated in this year and the matter is to be resolved after the ye.
if the matter is to be resolved after ye why would we show it in our current ye Income statement as expense ??
Because it is this year when whatever caused the case to be initiated occurred. Have not you watched my free lectures on this?
