i am working on topic 8..the values in an SOCI and SFP of the competitor’s 2010 annual report are given for a 13 months’ accounting period. They are not restated. Should i restate them to make the figures comparable? or should i use them as it is and mention that it was a 13 months’ accounting period? which treatment is preferable? please guide.
my mentor asked me to go with 13 months figures, ie, as they are in the annual report, but wont that make the analysis incorrect, misleading? he asked me to mention that the data is of 13 month accounting period in the appendix.. i am still confused though

good luck.
