I can never seem to move the ruler properly in order to get correct optimal point,
spending too much time on this – any advice? How do I do this part with equations?

We have been told by ACCA that it is very unlikely this year that you have to draw the whole graph. If there will be a question re this the graph will be there:-)
However Kesha is correct.Use the original contribution line and move the ruler outside. The last point you hit by moving your ruler within the feasible region is the optimal point.

Thanks – I am still working on this – thought I was finally getting it, but Q15 in BPP book – I cannot see why the ISO contribution line is 4000p + 2000s when cont is the other way around eg 20p + 40s, I had the optimal point being at P15000 – because my iso cont line was 4000s and 2000p – am I doing something wrong? so confused?

    Thanks, I had exemption from F2 – now wish I hadn’t!
I cant seem to get the OT lectures to play – keep sticking.
There does not seem to be much from tutors on here for F5 – I used this for F9 last week and they were extremely good.

ok i will try to explain to you. For exe you found feas. area ABCD. Find the coordinates for every A B C and D points on the graph x and y and calculate contribution for every of them or some of them u guess for exe A and B and take the biggere figure. Its time consuming though
