Hi, I have decided to give these 3 papers in june 2014. But i have no idea whether i will pass or not. But I have a lot of positive confidence plus a lot of negative thoughts too that discourage me.. Anyways are there any students giving the same papers like mine? June 2014 exam time table is June 2 (F5) June 3 (F6), June 9 (F4) this timetable freaks me out!!! 🙁

Any experienced students please advice ???????

Hi – I have given the same papers in June 13 session and I passed them all on first attempt, I am also a full time worker! The exam dates were almost the same except for F4 as I seem to remember that it was on June 10, so only one day later, not a big difference. Fair to mention as well that I only had 3 months to prepare for the exams, it is because I was giving F3 in February so I had to start late.

I am not bragging here lol I am just explaining that they are doable if you put a strict study schedule and you stick to it. You have plenty of time in front of you, you have six month, that’s double the time I had. I believe you can definitely attempt them. But please do consider that people are different. I don’t know you, I am not sure if you are the kind of person who will stick to time plans and have no problem sacrificing free time to spend on study. So, if you believe that YOU can do it, then go for it, from my point of view, there is plenty of time left to attempt them.

I attempted F4, F5 and F6 in June 13 exam session, and I cleared all three of them, F4(73) F5(71) F6(74). You might not be able to score 80++ like some of your friends who will attempt just 2 papers, however, you can finish your ACCA faster. F4, F5 and F6 are not as tough as F7 or F8, which requires a lot of memory, so you should go ahead with your plan for taking F4, F5 and F6 this semester.

I revised everything like a month before the exam, so when it comes to the papers that have near exam date, like F5 F6, just revise a few things that you should know before the exam, and after F6, just keep on reading your notes on F4, read over and over again until 8-9 times, surely it will get stuck in your head. 🙂

You should do what’s best for you. Think about it carefully and make your decision.
Draw up a plan with the timeframe to complete the F4, F5 and F6 Syllabus and for Revision as well.

F6 is quite a lot to remember, honestly from experience. The calculations are fairly straightforward but the written and tax planning aspects are quite time consuming to remember and apply appropriately.

If you are freaking out on the timetable, then it may be best to do F4 and F5 in June 2014.
As such, you would have a few days between each exam to recover from the exam day and do final preparation for F4.

I recommend this for you because if you are facing anxiety on the timetable you can go blank before the exam. It happened to me, it’s not a good thing and it messes up your performance really bad especially in the papers you enjoyed (F6 for me)

Papers can be attempted in any order in Level 2 but you MUST complete Level 2 before moving on to Level 3.

I am actually doing F5 (repeat) and F8 in June 2014.
This would give me 2 days between each exam to recover mentally especially if I have a bad experience in the F5 exam and a longer period to do final glimpse over notes for F8.

Universities in my country for a BSc degree don’t have exams one after the next, there is usually a 2-3 day space between each exam. I don’t understand why ACCA have 1 exam after the next.

I wrote F5 and F6 in December 2013 and I initially THOUGHT that I could have wrote one exam after the next BUT when the exam time reached I just got too stressed out and the anxiety just messed me up.
    I know for a fact I failed F5 and maybe passed F6.
