Dear Sir,
I don’t understand the Order book information at the end of the senario of NMS in the P3 pilot paper (question 1). It is said that the companies order forward order book has also reduced over the period in the answer. Could you kindly explain to me what does the order book exactly mean?
Many thanks!!!
The order book (figures just above “Required” in the question) shows the number of orders received but not yet fulfilled. It is an indication of how busy the company is and will be in the future.
A full order book means lots of orders in the pipeline, so lots of future revenue. An empty order book means trouble.
Thanks a lot for making this clear to me!
