May i know the difference between project initiation document and business case …or both of them are same please guide
I think of the business case as the justification (primarily financial) for the project.
The PID will include that but also lots more information such as sponsor, manager, team, main risk areas, timetable, work breakdown study etc. Think of it as the Project Handbook: every thing you need to know about the project will be there.
