There is a deficiency in internal control given in scenario that “Physical verification of assets within the NCA register has not been undertaken for some time. A current programme has started but is only 15% complete, due to staff shortages”
For its explanation would it be right to write that “If NCA’s are not physically verified regularly, this may lead to increased risk of assets being misplaced”
For its control would it be right to write that “Additional resources should be devoted for completing the physical verification of all assets within the register. If any assets cannot be traced, they should be written off ”
For its TOC would it be right to write that “Observe the process to ensure that physical verification of assets within the NCA register have been performed”

Why do you think your answer is not right? The deficiency, its effect and its remedy are really simple. You need to be able to make your own judgement on something so straightforward rather than seeking validation..
I will say no more on this.
