Do you get marked down if you use PESTEL incorrectly?
For example identifying a ‘political’ impact but used in the ‘economic’ heading.

My suspicion is that you would not be heavily marked down for this unless it would be unarguably listed under wrong heading. Often with this analysis, one type of factor could impinge on others. For example, demographic change will likely have economic and social consequences. Likewise technological developments can also have similar impacts on other factors. The development of the internet has had political, economic, social and legal consequences. Hope this helps.
