With regards to Topic 20 CSR, will it be appropriate to use personal observations? For example, lack of transparency displayed by the company, but were not covered widely by the media (eg issue concerning the lack of transparency and misleading customers)

I’ve most of the issues i have addressed are issues that has gotten large media coverage, with an exception to one issue which i believe will add value to my report. However, the issue isnt really a scandal per say, considering the lack of coverage.

ESG is the new CSR and therefore it is appropriate to look at some aspects of Governance. Can you deal with this under that heading? Even though Inditex is a Spanish company and therefore covered by Spanish legislation and any Spanish or OECD corporate governance code I would suggest making a few comparisons with the UK CG Code as a benchmark of best practice. Sounds as though there may be issues with its corporate culture and possibly ‘tone at the top’ ?
