In the tax year 2021/22 Susie receives employment income of £170,000.
She made gross gift aid donation of £10,000 in January 2022.

What is Susie’s income tax liability for the tax year 2021/22?

In the calculation of Income tax liability, personal allowance is not deducted.
Also, there is no mention of personal allowance in the question.

In case there is no mention of PA in an exam question, what assumption is to be made?

If you had worked through the lectures and study notes for Chapter 2 you would not be asking this question – please refer to these lectures and notes.
