    Hello Sir,

I am preparing Taxation and aiming to sit exam in June,19 (missed the deadline for March). I read the article that was posted with all the amendments and changes to keep in mind while preparing for FA,18. The personal allowance for 18-19 is £11,850 but with new budget it is increased to £12,500 for 19-20.
What should we use to do the calculations?
Sorry if I have asked something that I should know and I don’t.

    Regards

Ignore any rates and allowances for 2019/20 – you only use the 18/19 rates – the question will usually state to assume that 18/19 rates and allowances apply in future years but use them anyway

Thank you for the answer. I will keep in mind to use rates stated for 18-19 and do my preparation.
