    Hi sir

    I would like to ask usually what is the different between the performance of a manager being measured differently from the division performance?

    If want to calculated the profit for the manager’s performance, usually what basic should be used?

    Managers should be assessed on what they can control. Often the best managers are put in charge of nadly performing divisions to try to turn them round. So, if perforance was bad be ause the division hadman expensive lease negotiated by the previous manager, the current manager should not be penalised for that.

    Yes it does usually, but the manager’s performance should include only controllable factors.
