Performance objective 3 – raise awareness of non financial risk

Hi Neil,

Yes I work in practice and I have this objective signed off. I was struggling with this one too. Luckily for me as far as the assignment was concerned (but very unlucky for my firm!!) we suffered a major incident and I was able to use this experience to my advantage in completing the assignment.

You need to write about things like health and safety, security, things like that.
Basically things that are a “Risk” to your firms business as a whole as opposed to finances. Think of things “outside the accounting box” if that makes sense.

I dont want to give my answer away (obviously!) as I dont want to risk anyone copying my assignment and suffering disciplinary proceedures from ACCA.
