    Hello Tutor!!
    I have a doubt,
In question of ROI and/or ROCE if opening capital employed and closing capital employed both are given and nothing is mention what to use so in this scenario what should we use ?
    capital employed (opening)
    capital employed (closing)
    average capital employed

There is a logic for all of them. However in the exam use the opening capital employed unless either the question says to do different, or if you are only given the closing capital employed.

Although there is a logic in that, the Paper PM examiner always uses the opening capital employed (unless, obviously, she says to do differently in the question).
