APPRAISAL INTERVIEWS: tell and listen=the appraisal is on whether an individual is able to understand what one is saying. problem solving appraisal=is whether one is able to tackle tasks.

I don’t understand on the “tell and sell appraisal”, how does it work?

Tell thestaff member what you think and convince them that you are right ie sell the story. The appraiser is not interested in any sort of discussion.
