Hi! My workplace line manager is FCCA. Will this help me in getting exemption from filing 9 objectives.
No, it makes no difference what qualifications your supervisor has. You only get to claim the performance objective exemption if your employer is a gold or platinum ACCA approved employer, holds the trainee development exemption permission, and agrees that you are able to claim the exemption and completes the form.
If you cannot claim the exemption your supervisor must be qualified from any IFAC qualified body. It makes no difference what specific qualification and membership level they hold – if they are ACCA, FCCA, ACA, FCA, ACMA, FCMA etc it doesn’t matter, as long as they are qualified.
