    Greetings,

I am currently working in the public sector in a department and posted in the finance section. My work is related to payment for over time hours worked by some officers.

I would be very grateful if one could kindly help me with regard to duties performed and if it fits in a relevant role please.

The papers I received , I first ensure both hard and soft copies are the same and no discrepancy and follow with the updated employee masterfile to ensure no bogus employee and also the given IDs is indeed for said people.

After receiving a checklist for approved changes in salary being processed, I then prepare reports based on pay-site codes on excel.

I would like to know if these are considered as relevant role or partly so I can claim my time in the finance section please. I am planning to shift to another department or ministry, until I can move to the private sector.

It will be much appreciated if any one could help me please.

    Thank you.

See here https://www.accaglobal.com/ie/en/employer/supporting-trainees/practical-experience-supervisor/relevant-experience.html – I would say it’s partially relevant but clearly you will need to move around to cover PER as your current role has very narrow focus.

Thank you so much for your help.

Yes, I will definitely move around as soon as I can to cover the PER and find a job in a relevant field with regard to ACCA qualification.

Thank you so much once again.

    Have a nice Sunday.
    Best regards.
