Dear Mr. Moffat,
I am writing the F5 exam in two weeks and have downloaded some past exams from ACCA to practice. I see from March 2016 and back the exams were in a bit of a different format and some of the questions are a bit different from what is covered in the review kit. I was just wondering if it is worthwhile spending the time to learn and go through those past exams or just focus on going through the review kit and opentuition mock/practice questions. I am just a little bit stressed about where to focus my attention over the next two weeks – any advice?
The change in the format does not affect what you need to know for the exam and so practicing old questions is still worthwhile.
Most important however is that you do have a current edition of a revision kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers, and that you work through every question in the kit.
