Hi, all. I am currently studying for P levels. When I checked P7 (AAA) past exams papers, there are only two real exam papers (2018 Sep and Dec) available. Apart from that, 2017 to 2016 are all sample papers. I wonder if sample papers are still good to use? For example, there are 4 questions in sample questions. But the real exam paper only has 3 questions. I also bought exam kit from Kaplan. I wonder what is the best resources to practice on? Or sample papers are not that helpful? Many thanks.
May 1, 2019 at 9:53 am #514686As it says on the past exams page of ACCA’s website: https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/student/exam-support-resources/professional-exams-study-resources/p7/past-exam-papers.html:
“The questions in these exams appear as they did when they were sat. They have not been updated in line with any changes in legislation or standards, or amendments to the syllabus or questions. You should use them with caution when preparing for exams.
You can buy up to date question and solutions from our Approved Content Providers.”So you have done the right thing in buying an exam kit in which past questions and answers will have been technically updated and adapted to the current style and standard of the AAA exam. You may also be interested in the FREE webinar for AAA which you will see is flagged at the top of the AAA forum pages.
May 6, 2019 at 4:51 pm #515110Hi Kim Smith,
I’ve been trying to get a hold of BPP learning media from which I bought the practice tests. I understand that the tests are valid for 90 days and shouldn’t be purchased any earlier. I bought them earlier as my exam is in September. Does that mean that they are only valid until August? I’d hate to have to buy them again.
Thanks,
