Hello Sir,
I am checking past papers and I have a doubt regarding one question and its answer.
In paper of June 2015. question 9.
In the answers there is: 320-80(6/60) = 2,400 which of course is not correct.
Could you please provide me the correct solution?
Thank you in advance.
The answer certainly is correct – they have simply missed the brackets in part of the workings (but in the exam your workings for the MCQ’s are not even looked at).
The throughput per factory hour = (320 – 80) / (6/60) = 2,400.
I do suggest that you watch my free lectures on throughput accounting.
