Hi Mr John,
I am struggling to clear this paper for me because of my poor exam technique, the previous exam was a disaster for me.
there was a question regarding the shadow pricing and I can’t exactly remember all the question but I so remember the following equations which I still can’t solve for what ever reason.
3x +5y =12000
6x + 10y =27000it would be great if you could help me out in understanding how to solve for X and Y.
July 22, 2017 at 10:45 am #398065I suggest that you watch my free lectures on linear programming, because I work through how to solve simultaneous equations like this!
However, you cannot possibly have remembered the equations correctly, because they are impossible.
If 3x + 5y = 12,000, then (multiplying everything by 2) 6x + 10y = 24,000.
6x + 10 y cannot possibly equal both 24,000 and also equal 27,000July 22, 2017 at 10:54 am #398074Thanks, Mr Moffat, I have watched them and I know exactly where I went wrong, it is such a shame that I couldn’t remember this in the exam.
