Respected Sir, Can you confirm the answer to this ques, As in the study text what ever is written about passwords says that it can restrict further access.
The following statements have been made about information systems.
(2) Passwords can be used to control the level of access to information.
Ans: statement 2 is false because Access controls, for example user IDs are used to restrict access to information not passwords.
September 8, 2020 at 4:34 pm #584149The answer is correct.
I don’t know whether or not you use internet banking, but if you do then just imagine if someone else had chosen the same password as you (it might be unlikely, but it can happen). If it was only the password that was controlling the access then they would be given access to your account. Your ID determines what you can access and your password then determines whether or not it is actually you.
