Hi John, hope you’re well. I’m having problem passing P4. I took P4 in June and then in September. My 50 marks question in June went so well and I was kind of sure that I’ll pass but unfortunately I didn’t. Same goes for my September exam. I even took crash course at the local tuition provider with the online lectures. I have no idea what I’m doing wrong. Please guide me how to prepare and pass this big hurdle. Have a nice day!
October 17, 2016 at 8:51 am #344012I would suggest three things to consider.
One is, have you watched all my free lectures for P4? If not then it would be worth spending the time.
The second, is that I assume you have a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers? (If not then you must buy one). You should practice every question in it and learn from your mistakes.
Thirdly, in the exam it is vital that you attempt every question – you won’t finish every question but you must write something for every part of every question.
I have uploaded several lectures working through past Question 1’s from recent exams. You might find these useful because I go through the approach to the questions as well as obviously the technical content.
