Hello
Are OT notes (FR) + any 1 revision kit fine for passing FR comfortably?
December 14, 2018 at 1:49 pm #491993And secondly is there any change in syllabus between June 2019 exam session and September 2019 exam session?
December 17, 2018 at 6:15 pm #492131Hi,
Yes, it is fine, although I still recommend the workbook/study text as it too contains additional examples and questions that are of use to practise before you attempt the exam style questions.
Thanks
December 17, 2018 at 6:39 pm #492144secondly is there any change in syllabus between June 2019 exam session and September 2019 exam session?
December 18, 2018 at 8:10 pm #492237Hi,
The only change is that the direct method of calculating the cash generated from operations is no longer examined at FR, other than that it is all the same.
Thanks
January 16, 2019 at 2:55 pm #502277Sir as far as theory is concerned in FR, is the theory which is contained in OT notes and lectures enough to pass FR OR is it necessary to read FR studytext as far as theory is concerned?
January 20, 2019 at 8:32 pm #502831Hi,
For FR you will be perfectly OK with the class notes and a revision kit. The key to success is application of the knowledge and practise of the questions.
Thanks

So I just want to ask that the Kaplan revision kit of FR which is valid till June 2019, would this be fine for Sept 2019 session, or will I need to buy a new revision kit of FR after June 2019?
January 27, 2019 at 8:09 am #503373Hi,
It will depend on if there are any syllabus changes.
Thanks
January 27, 2019 at 12:40 pm #5034181) So are there any changes in syllabus between FR June 2019 session and Sept 2019 session?
2) If I have to take FR in Sept 2019 session , so you are suggesting that I should not rely on June 2019 kit?
February 2, 2019 at 2:18 pm #503929Your first question has already been answered, so please see posts above.
You can use the June 2019 kit.
