passing f6 and f8 without books?

hello

has anyone passed f6 and f8 with just the notes and lecture slides avaliable on this site. Without the use of the books ?

Also is 12 week sufficient to prepare for f6 and f8.

Anyone with any experience in this please advise me.

if you are really on a tight budget, i would recommend to at least buy some exam kit.
