    Dear Sir,

Could you please suggest a strategy for AFM as i passed by FM more than a decade ago & almost all the knowledge has been vanished.
What is the best strategy as i really wants to attempt AFM in 12/22, should i start listening to the AFM lectures straight away & if anything comes in between relevant to FM i should back to FM lectures & revise it or AFM lectures has explained them enough & only AFM lectures would to be enough to start practicing AFM questions.
Would i be able to attempt AFM in 12/22 only by listening to OT AFM lectures & by practicing kaplan kit questions or i have to listen to the FM lectures first but this way it will consume lots of time.
    Please help & elaborate

Given that it is so long since you passed Paper FM then I think it would be best to listen to the FM lectures (or maybe to work through the examples in the notes, and just listen to the lectures on areas that you realise you have forgotten everything – that will not take so long).
Also, ignore the Paper FM chapters on the management of working capital (they are not examiner in Paper AFM), and there is no need to watch the FM lectures on managing exchange rate and interest rate risk – they are always examined in Paper AFM but are covered in full in the AFM lectures without any need to refer back to Paper FM).

Subject to the above, listening to our AFM lectures and practising all of the questions in your Exam Kit should be enough to pass the exam in December 🙂
