What counts as being “Part Qualified” ?

Are there a certain number of Exams I have to have sat to be counted as part qualified? I can’t seem to find a proper answer to this.

Usually indicates having passed some exams together with a certain amount of paid professional experience which would contribute to gaining professional qualification in one of the chartered accountancy bodies.
