Deat Sir,
I came across with two approach to analyze role of parent company
1. Portfolio Manager / Synergy Manager / Parental Developer
2. Financial Control / Strategic Control / Strategic Planning
Are those two somehow linked? e.g.
Portfolio Manager is most likely to set up only financial control approach
synergy manager most likely to set up strategic control
Parental Developer most likely to set up Strategic Planning
or there isnt any and two approaches should be analysed separately.
Many thanks for for your time
As you say, portfolio manager = financial control.
After that, I think the terms differ and don’t easily reconcile.
For the exam, portfolio manager/synergy manager/parental developer are the important ones and are mentioned in the learning guide.
