i work full time is it wise to do f5 f7 & f8 in june 2014 sitting?
February 20, 2014 at 12:45 pm #159545It shouldn’t affect your work too much!
Seriously though Nessa, it depends what other demands there are on your time. Family, social, recreation, sport …. there are so many unknowns (at least, they’re unknown to anyone but you) that that’s an impossible question to answer
February 20, 2014 at 2:30 pm #159569thank you
but i am planning to put everything on pause for these examsAugust 4, 2014 at 7:32 pm #186381Hi sir
I have completed f4 and f5 papers and presently waiting for results. I would like to know wheather f7 and f9 is a best combination or not?August 4, 2014 at 8:13 pm #186388F7 and F9 seems to be “average” as a combination. 18% of students responding to the survey put F9 as being the best combination with F7 (expected average 20%)
Yes, why not? The only downside is that both papers are number orientated so it MAY be better to mix a written paper with a numbers paper. But…. they all have to be passed at some stage 🙁
August 5, 2014 at 9:08 am #186456Thank you for the reply. How about f7 and f8? Or would u suggest me which combination is better for me this semester.
August 5, 2014 at 1:33 pm #186475Hi
F7 with F8 seems to be a favourite combination. One is almost entirely number orientated whereas the other is almost exclusively theory / written / non-numerate
Seems a perfectly acceptable mix to me
August 5, 2014 at 1:57 pm #186481hHi. I wrote F5 and F8 in June and am waiting for my result. I want to to either 7 and 6 or 7 and 9. which do you think is a better combination?
August 5, 2014 at 3:57 pm #186495The difficulty with F6 could be (and it’s not certain) because it’s UK taxation (unless you are attempting one of the variants). If you are from, for example, a former CEE country then the underlying concept of tax and all its complicated little rules could be over-facing. If you’re from the UK, then F6 and F7 should be fine.
If you’re not from the UK and your own country’s tax regime is still in relative infancy, then maybe F7 and F9 would be preferred leaving F6 for a later day
Hope that helps
