    Hello Sir,

    In the solution for this question on page 227 of the notes, the calculation for the tax liability for the Savings part shows:

    830 @ 20% = 166
    2670 @ 40% = 534

    However, 40% of 2670 is 1068.

    Please advise.

    Many thanks for spotting this calculation error – clearly the calculation is wrong and should have been at 40% (as stated) and not at 20% as appears in the answer!
    We will have that added to the errata sheet – keep up the good work!
