sir wanna ask for adjustment of paladin december 2011 question of consolidation. Its 2nd adjustment cannot make it though actually its depreciation making issue for me.
I think depr. of $1000 (4000/4) should make entries of Dr. depreciation $1000 Cr. $800 to consolidated reserves and $200 to NCI
similarly, $500 (3000/6) Dr. depreciation $500 Cr. consolidated reserves $400 and $100 to NCI

but what originally happened is not making sense for me kindly help me please
    its disturbing

Rather than split every separate adjustment into “us” and “them”, why not feed all the adjustments into a single working in full and then allocate to “us” and “them”

I think that you’ll find that the end result is the same but your way is slower and more cumbersome

    ok

I should make adjustments to RE of subsidiary and then as whole should allocate in 80 and 20%
