I have always choose international stream through out my study but latterly , I had couple of years break while take care of young family and very heavy job, I did last sitting, somewhere I have read that now if you base in uk, for audit paper you must choose uk stream? It’s it true?
I had twice close mark 48 twice then give up, now trying to pick up, however my last sitting got 23 under uk stream, after compare the question and answer, I notice the int stream paper have more clear hint/ indication for helping you structure your answers , I thinking take international stream next time, it’s that allowed? Any impact if I change stream?
Thanks

Personally, I don’t understand this requirement! Particularly because for both F7 and F8 there is no longer a UK variant and it’s just International now
February 20, 2015 at 11:08 pm #229437Mike, thank you. I don’t understand this requirement too, because when I was study p2 and f8, they were force us to choose international stream, that’s what I have learnt. I am stressed about this, I am not intended become auditor. I just want to get through my last paper which under international stream, I achived 48 marks twice, the. This time I choose UK stream got 23 marks.
Can I change back to international stream for my next sitting?February 20, 2015 at 11:10 pm #229438Do you mean Practise as accountant or auditor? All the lower paper was international stream which was directed by tutor before.

February 21, 2015 at 7:14 am #229448Thanks qian for this – although it still seems such a tiny difference between the two variants that it really is SAD to draw that distinction.
Judging by your three previous scores it looks like a return to International could be a good idea!
Keep posting if you come across an issue that you don’t understand
