    Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone could please help me out about whether P7 is a self-study paper?
If so,please provide some tips on how to equip oneself for studying this exam

    Regards.

hey, i dont think its difficult to self study for p7. just go through the text while understanding concepts and then move on to the revision kit and the past papers.. there are good articles in the Student accountant for guidance regarding attempting exam questions.. u can also make use of the examiner reports for guidance.. wish u all the best 🙂

I think it is possible to do so. I have cleared all my ACCA papers as self study, at first attempt and in two and half years with out exemptions. I have got only P7 to go now in December. The trick is in starting early, study regularly and cover all the syllabus. Best of luck and we will discuss some topics near exams.Regards,

It’s a great idea trying to self-study P7. But don’t get it twisted, P7 has its twists.
    1. Cover the entire syllabus
    2. Try out past questions
    3. Chat with other students. That’s why OpenTuition is a great place to be.
    4. Read P7 articles
    5. Clear your thinking and brace yourself for the exam.

In my opinion, P7 is the easiest ACCA optional paper to pass. But you need to prepare well.

You can also read through the OT course notes and listen to the audio lectures!
