this is my first attempt and last acca paper….can i know whether the past exams on acca website are okay for practice ? or are there changes to the syalbus…i think the format of audit report has changed but are there any other changes like from the 2013 p7 paper ..

i tend to practice from past papers instead from revision kit … is buying revision kit necessary or are the changes very little …like i did p1 p3 p4 all from past papers as these hardly change , p2 had changed so i did more practice from revison kit for march 2018 exam as standards for revenue and leases and other slight changes were introduced …….so like attempting p2 2013 exam wouldnt be appropraite coz standards had been updated ……….but how about p7 ? like i would prefer to read 2010 and older past exams papers for p7 instead of buying a revision kit ..if there is any audit procedures related to leases in older p7 exams …i would know the difference regarding leases as i recently passed p2 exam in march 2018, so i know the standards had been updated

i like to practice from past papers as each question is different and cover wide different areas in each paper ,,,,, or is a rvison kit important for this exam ? i passed f8 in june 2017 and didnt even use my revison kit

It’s really only the format of the audit report that has changed (if we are to ignore changes brought about by the revision of standards)

Personally I would prefer the use of an updated revision kit but, if you are really happy with past papers, they should be sufficient for your needs

    OK?
