I have been a member of ACCA for a while now (Final exams Dec 2013). It has come to my attention recently that I have sat the international variant of both P2 and P7, which now seems to be a grave error in judgement! I seemingly cannot now apply for the audit qualification in the UK, which my employer wants me to. (I know, I’m an idiot).
My question is: Is there any way around this for me? It seems a little far to go to have to study and sit two full examinations all over again, when I worked so hard the first time to pass them both. Also, there is some speculation that the UK variants are going to be discontinued with the move in the UK to more international style standards, removing the need for this variant entirely.
I don’t want to have to sit exams again if I can help it, and if i simply must, I don’t want to do it and find they discontinue it anyway!
Thanks for any advice available!
James
I would advice you to speak to the ACCA yourself and get advice from them
