    Hi everyone

I need some advice. I’m planning to sit P7 in September and do it self-study full-time. This gives me just under 7 weeks. I got exempt from F8 but passed P2 in June. Would you say this is do-able?

Full-time self-study should be doable but as you were exempt from F8 I would strongly recommend that you attempt the F8 CBE Specimen or one of the full exams (S16 or D16) to assess your level of assumed knowledge. Nearly all of F8 is relevant to AAA and I wouldn’t recommend starting on studying audit at a higher level until you’ve checked your underpinning knowledge. If you seem to have significant gaps at least work through the flashcards https://opentuition.com/acca/f8/acca-f8-flashcards-set-1/ (there are 4 sets) to identify those areas that you will need to pay particular attention to.

    Thank you. That’s very useful!
