    Hi mike,

I recently sat for the June 2016 exam and planning to retake in September or December.

I was wondering if there is a need to repurchase the newer edition book (revision) as they have updated the syllabus? I currently have the previous books.

Also, is there any advise of whether the September sitting is harder than the December? As I’ve only done June and December sittings and have been told multiple times that the March and September sittings are harder. Sorry if this is a silly questions

Hope to hear from you soon.
    Thank you

    Regards mei

No need to buy any new material – just make totally sure that you are well on top of the new audit report ISAs

Extensive reading of past exam papers, technical articles, course notes and a solid application of sound examination technique should see you through

    Read this article:

    https://www.accaglobal.com/za/en/student/exam-support-resources/fundamentals-exams-study-resources/f8/technical-articles/auditor-report.html

“and have been told multiple times that the March and September sittings are harder.” – absolute nonsense! It’s difficult to imagine what goes on in the minds of people that espouse such theories and equally difficult to imagine that anyone believes them!

Get in touch when you come across some matter that you feel needs further explanation

    OK?
