I tried to enter for the P6 sitting in Cork for September 2015.
When you go through the process the only variant you can select is the UK variant.
It looks like you cannot sit the Irish variant of the P6 paper in Ireland in September 2015.Has anyone else found this to be the case?
If Irish students cannot sit the Irish version of the P6 paper in September whats the point in running the exam?????I know some students may wish to sit the UK variant but I’m fairly sure the vast majority would want to sit the Irish variant.
Any comments would be very welcome.
July 16, 2015 at 1:43 pm #260911According to the exam timetable, P6 (IRL) is not being offered in September. The only IRL options offered are P2 and P7. The next sitting for P6 (IRL) is on Thursday 10th December.

I still think its an absolute joke that we cannot sit P6 (IRL) in September. Just have to crack on with P7 so.
Cheers for the reply
