    Hi,

I am awaiting results for P4 so I trying to decide which subject between P6 or P7?

My employment is more suited to audit (management accounting/funds) and I probably know more audit than tax.

The problem is that I have heard some people who just could not pass audit even after 5 sittings, and switched to tax and got it after 1/2 sittings. She told me it is more clear in the exam whether you are right or wrong because, unlike in audit, there is no opinion required, apparently.
I am not a strong student so I really can’t afford to be in the same situation!

    Thanks for the help
    Bobby

I recommend you do P7 as your interest (work and personal satisfaction) lies there. If you follow the P7 examiner’s advice, Lisa Weaver, then you will find yourself passing first time also.

Get a good teacher, a very good tutor who is an expert at P7. Don’t study alone. There are many expert tutors who teach online too. Follow Ms. Lisa’s advice about going through as many past exam papers as you possibly can and read the related examiner’s reports and voila, you are right in the spot!

Great thanks Gabriel. It’s looking like P7 more and more. I suppose the sooner I start studying it the better, because it is such a high volume of material.
