I scored 74% in P6 and now an Affiliate

Failed in Dec sitting passed in Jun 57% dont know how missed the first question about dormant company completly, over ran on other questions last hour n i was still on Q2 and to top it off i ran out of paper so had to scribble on a little bit blank area, but happy Allhamdullilah
PER done everything else done applied for membership should take approx 2 weeks and then thats that lol
Congratulations to everyone that has passed its not an easy paper, commiserations to those that haven’t but dont give up not when you have come this far, and please dont take advise on people when they tell you to change subject you have already done and have 40% of the knowledge and its another 10%

The main thing here is to know your weakness in the exam, is it time mgt or lack of knowledge of technical area. If tecnical aspect is the issue, put more effort in your study, if time, u should realize that p6 does not require stories, bullet point will do. do more qs practice, i believe in qs practice a lot so always give my self 4wks of qs practice for each paper. i used kaplan material. what you might also find helpful is visiting kaplan bitesize tutorials, they have very good materials and exam techniques free. if you search through google – kapaln bitesize tutorial- it takes you to the right page. Lastly lean on God’s strenght as with God all things are possible. Good luckThank you Temi for the valuable advice.

Please suggestI thought about this admin review and decided against it as i did not want to waste the money since i know where i have gone wrong! Think about it and ask yourself whether you really deserve a pass and then go with your gut feelings.

Passed 59%, now affiliate! To those who passed Congrat! Those who failed – make sure to pass in next seating before tax rules change again. Practice lots of passed exam quetions under time condition. I’ve done all of them from 2007 by printing them from ACCA website and this helps to manage pressure in the exam because you are used to flipping pages as if you are in an exam rather then doing them from text book because also this way quetions are in a random range. If you are in London, I advise to take a revision with Kaplan tutor Neil Da Costa, he doesnt like if you ask questions in a classroom but he gives fast responds via e-mail. He was very very good, knew the examiner style and what quetions are coming up so I passed 1st time dispite working full time and having a 3 year old son.
