Hi could you please adress the folowwing points:

    1) How easy would you say it is to pass P5 at a first attempt if you are well prepared for it?
    2) I have purchased the BPP online classroom and textbook with revision kit, would me relying on the open tutiion website be sufficent material to study from or would you advise to go through both sets of study notes and online lectures?
    3) Are the lectures and the study notes on your site now ready to use, or are there likely to be any further changes before the March 2018 exam?

    Thanks

1 Pass rate of P5 hovers around 30%, usually the lowest of P4 to P7. See

    https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/student/exam-support-resources/professional-exams-study-resources/pass-rates-professional-exams.html

That includes retake students and also those who are badly prepared. You are asking about first time passes for well -prepared students and there are no statistics for that sub-group. Indeed, there can’t be with regard to preparedness because ACCA does not know that information.

It is a bit of a self-fulfilling prophecy: if you are well-prepared there is, by definition a good chance of passing. Leaving bad luck aside, if you don’t pass there is presumaly something wrong with your preparation.

2 I suggest you do not read the text book, but use our notes. Having purchased the on-line lectures I suggest you listen theirs and ours. It is very important to do questions from the revision kit. This exam is much more application than knowledge.

3 There are no planned changes to our material.
